Welcome to our happy school!

Learning Times:  8.45 a.m. to 3.15 p.m. (32.5 hours)

Ours is a friendly and popular primary school located in the heart of Todwick village in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. We are situated between Sheffield and Rotherham, close to major road links such as the M1 and A57.

We take a great pride in our school and in creating immersive environments to engage children in their learning. We strive to achieve our best in everything we do. Our children enjoy wide and diverse opportunities, both within and beyond the curriculum. We have a strong commitment to first hand experience and active learning so that education takes place in meaningful contexts. Every single one of our children is valued and respected as an individual; and our teaching and learning takes account of children's interests, experiences and needs.

At Todwick School we enjoy strong partnerships with parents, carers and governors; working together to ensure that our children enjoy their primary school experience feeling safe, happy and confident in order to achieve the very best they can. We have high expectations in challenging and supporting children to develop a thirst for learning.  We foster imagination and creativity, and nurture all talents to engage children and support them in becoming successful, independent learners.

Our dedicated school governors work alongside a strong and committed team of staff to maintain the highest standards and drive the school forward. Our parents and carers are welcomed into school and are actively involved in daily life here.
